In this video we repair a significant dent in the door of a beautiful Jaguar. This damage was caused by another vehicles door while in a parking lot, resulting in multiple areas of damage. Upon closer inspection we see that there is damage near the top of the door, including the body line, along with damage down near the middle of the door.
The damage in the middle of the door is directly behind a crash support beam that runs diagonally through the door for safety. This beam is glued directly to the outer skin of the door and requires a different repair process. Luckily we have all the tools and techniques to still repair damage behind braces.
The result of this repair was fantastic, leaving a finished product that is undetectable. We were able to not only save the car from being stripped, bondoed and repainted but we also saved significant time with the repair.
